I've decided to write "memory" posts from now on, maybe once a week?
Well, here is the first one.

For as far as I can remember he always had been the hard-working kid. He was never really nice to me, in fact I always felt like he looked down on me and didn't even bother to think about me at all. But he had always been the one to take care of everything, from every house hold chores to little crying baby cousins. On top of everything on his shoulder, he was the best student in his class. He was smart and clever. It's like there was nothing he couldn't do, he always somehow managed to top everything. I envied him but at the same time felt sorry for him and felt all other things for him. He matured faster than rest of us did. Maybe this is why, sometimes I would save up a bar of snickers, even my own and wait for the most casual opportunity to give it to him and him only. Of course, only on those times he would actually appreciate my presence. It used to bother me a lot, the way he never even cared about me after all those years of our childhood. But somehow, maybe it's because he didn't care, I ended up feeling the way I felt for him. Yet, I don't really know what I felt for him, but all I know is that I loved the way he used to walk so fast and I would almost half run to catch up with him in the mornings to go to school together. And when he sew my barbie dress for me and did it even better than I could, there was nothing I could do to stop all the things I felt for him. Then there was the moment, I didn't even realize at first what I was doing and was about to do. He had his baby cousin in his lap and was playing with him sweetly. I came up to them as they were sitting under the barn shadow, he was trying to teach his cousin to kiss on the cheek. The cute little baby was clueless to what he was saying or doing, so I tried to show the baby how to do it. I pouted my lips and leaned closer to him without even thinking twice. Then all of sudden I realized he was backing away and when I looked up into his eyes, he awkwardly asked me what I was doing. I jolted backwards and managed to mutter "nothing" before I ran away. Why couldn't I just kiss him on the cheek, it would just be a peck if I ever was to do it and plus we were only children. Why did he had to back away and make things complicated?

CHEERS TO THE ADVENTUROUS FUTURE

Guten Abend! Ich hoffe dass, alles gut geht! The reason why I wrote in German is because I've started taking German classes again! I thought I forgot everything and I was afraid that I won't be able to understand my teacher and thus the whole course, but to my surprise I understood quite a lot. It's pretty cool how everything is eventually coming back to me. Nevertheless I'm running between Malmö and Lund twice or thrice a week so I'm on the run pretty much since the start of the year. I actually like it, not too much of school but it still keeps me busy here and there. On top of this I'm finally going to start taking dance classes! It's FINALLY because I always said I would take dance classes for past 5 years but never did, up until now, so this time it's for real and it's happening!!! The classes start in a week but I can't wait, I'm super hyped up.

From the looks of it, this year is definitely a brand new start. I'm feeling so inspired and confident to do so many great things and really want to make most of what I've got, and what I've got is time. As they say, time is "money", I'm not wasting a single penny but to invest it for the brighter and adventurous future.

"What doesn't kill you" heard this song on the radio for the first time today and instantly loved it! Love Kelly's voice! Anyways, as for today, I met up with Weiling!!! She is back for the winter break! I'm so over the moon that she is back and we finally met today!!! Missed her so much and it was so great to see her again and talk about all the things we've missed out on each other! It feels so good to be finally seeing each other eyes to eyes after what seemed like endless months of waiting! Seriously it felt like forever although it has only been 4 months.. She is still the same, our Weii!! To be honest, I was scared that she might have changed but fortunately we are still the same old Azaa and Weii.. I'm so happy...

We went to a Christmas market in Vellinge last Sunday, in hopes of finding a perfect Christmas tree! But the prices for the trees were above 1000 sek! Too expensive.. Neverthless the market was filled with all sorts of Christmas decorations and lights and it sure made me leap once or twice! Now I'm definitely in a Christmas spirit! Hooray!

On the photo above you can see Robin (my first male model). We shot this last week but I've been editing the photos over and over again, I just couldn't get the right tone and colors! I guess I'm a little satisfied with this one but still kind of unsure about it..

By the way I've got some really good news to share with you guys! But not just yet! I'm so excited and trilled about it! Well it's actually 2 things but I'll tell you all later when it's halfway through next week!

So here are the photos from the photo shoot with gorgeous Henrietta! I was initially going to take photos of Louise in a bathtub soaked in water and etc. But then we ran into some problems so Louise asked Henrietta to model for us instead. This was the first time I met Henrietta and was so excited to work with her! Louise showed me her photos like way back in summer and we talked about how perfect she is for modelling and wanted to take her photos ever since then and the wish came true! It was really fun and the photos came out nicely! Just love her hair color!

Scared myself to death the other night.. and here is what happened. I was staying up pretty late, I think it was around 1 am, so it was past midnight. I thought my mom was still up but when I opened my door to the hall way the lights were turned off and there was no sign of anyone awake. But I didn't think so much about it, just thought that they all went to bed. So then I walked towards the bathroom to brush my teeth and clean up before going to bed. But notice here, I however didn't turn on the corridor light and as my eyes were not adjusted to the blackness I could barely see anything but I still knew where I was going. Then just as I was walking halfway through the corridor I felt as if I bumped into what looked like a grey and blurry thing ( I don't know what it was). Or it was more like I suddenly saw a grey thing right in front of me and it just passed through my body and was gone. The whole thing was matter of a second or two.. I don't know if what I saw and felt was real or it was just my head hallucinating. Was it a ghost? who knows..whatever it was it scared the hell out of me..

I'm having problem with my eye lids, if you look closely my left eye does not have double lid (half) when the other does.. And I look weird because they are not the same.. and I have to like tilt my head in some certain angle or cover my left eye so that it wouldn't show so much..

Don't really like the photo so much, I'm still testing and experimenting but still can't get what I want.. T.T

Tested my new reflector yesterday and played with the light. I really want to learn to create a smooth yet a crisp image. Like the tone is very soft and image is clear and clarified... But it's so hard.. Light is so difficult to work with..

Yesterday was daddy's birthday but he wasn't here as he is in Örebro (we were all suppose to go but had a last minute change of plan). But he is coming tomorrow so I baked a cake (my own recipe), Chocolate Mousse Cake! We'll see how it tastes tomorrow! For now I have to sleep, going to wake up early to take my siblings to daycare.. I swear I really love late night photographing! I start with an idea in mind and improvise on it spontaneously without planning/thinking so much and the results are unusually/surprisingly good! Or at least to me.. I initially wanted to create something similar to the "we found love" music video, specially the parts where they are high and all the world is dancing around them in circles... But then as I was editing the photos, they just turned into eerie/spooky images.. well I like them anyway..

I'm listening to this song non-stop ever since its release.. It's just addicting. It's too good,, and the music video is quite something, very powerful and fits perfectly to the song.. So after listening to it for the millionth time and received tons of inspiration this is what I created yesterday..  I still haven't decided whether I wanna include them in "vulnerability set" or not. It was back when I was shooting with Tanya that I met Brenda on the street. She was with Linda and they were also taking each others photos so I thought to myself maybe they could be interested in modelling. But before I had the chance to ask them they left and plus I wasn't really feeling courageous enough to go up and talk to strangers. But then Tanya and I moved location and there they were still taking photos. So I had to ask them if they would like to do a photo shoot with me and they were really nice and agreed to do it right away. We exchanged our contacts and kept in touch over Facebook and met up 2 weeks after. The day we shot the weather was not on our side, it was freezing and windy. We went to Pildamns Park and shot for 2 hours and they were all bare in summer dresses. I really felt bad and it reminded me of the photo shoot I did back in March. But luckily they didn't get sick and the photo shoot went really fun! So a very special thanks to Brenda and Linda for doing the photo shoot with me!!! It was really nice to get to know them and looking forward to more photo shoot with Brenda!

Yesterday was awesome! We got a very good news and in the spirit of that we had a nice family dinner at Krua Thai. I'm in love with Thai food, it's so delicious! I've just ordered my reflectors from eBay for like 160 kr including the shipping cost and it's 5 in 1! Super awesome! Can't wait to use them! Turns out I won't be shooting with Louise this Sunday, she is busy.. =( Well wish you all a nice weekend!

My first photo shoot with Louise, it was about 3 weeks ago. We might do another one this Sunday, I haven't got the chance to ask her if she is available but hope she is. This time we are going to be shooting indoors as well, possibly something with water related. And I'm dreading the winter, it's always so grey and dark. I don't know how I'm suppose to produce good photos when there is no light,, I need light! So I feel like it is the time for me to buy a reflector, but it's so expensive. The one I want to buy is like 500 kr!

Two weeks ago I entered an online weekly photo contest with the photo above on very awesome [FRAMED] . Every week they announce a theme and people could submit their photos on Facebook. Then they take about 20 photos that have the most "likes" and from those 20 photos [FRAMED] choose the winner. The week that I've entered the contest, the theme was "SELF", so after much consideration (whether the photo I've chosen was good enough, whether I would win or not) I uploaded my photo on Facebook. I didn't think I would win but a week later I saw my photo on the front page of [FRAMED]. I didn't believe it at first but then I checked Facebook and there it was, my photo claimed the winner title. I was just so happy and jumping around the place. I didn't know how to contain my excitement and told my parents and they couldn't believe me either. I'm honored that [FRAMED] people chose my photo for the 1st place because they are truly amazing people who constantly feed us with endless inspiration and motivation. Thank you so much!

So two days ago I got a package from the US and it was labeled "from:[FRAMED]" and when I opened the envelope, my prize was inside! "Kevin Kubota's Lighting Notebook" - 101 LIGHTING STYLES AND SETUPS FOR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

BEAUTY AD SHOTS

This is what I did last night. I'm preparing myself for Saturday's shoot and we're going for a "beauty" theme. So I expect to shoot something like above but of course with better results.. If you look at the original photo, the lighting is so bad! I only had one white light shining right in front of my face but on Saturday we will be working with spotlights so hopefully it will go better. Also I need to learn to apply make-up better, I'm just not used to it and thus hopeless at it..Oh and there is an optical illusion! On the first photo if you look at the pictures at the bottom they appear brighter but in fact all four photos are the same!

Another breath-taking editorial! Gosh it's so amazingly beautiful! I love it, I love it! The photos are taken by Nico back in 2006 for VOGUE Espana with the most gorgeous Rosie Huntington! I really love the dreamy and light effects! I don't know why but somehow I'm just not good with taking photos on bright sunny day and I find it extremely hard to edit photos with high sun exposure. But this one is just magical.

She is so full of energy and laughter that I cannot contain myself from enjoying the moment either. Her eyes are so gorgeous and she is stunning! The weather was also very nice and warm. It really felt like summer days although it was 1st of October. Hope it continues that way little longer. LUCID DREAMING

”Azaa you can snatch that lollipop and devour it because it’s only a dream and nobody can scold you for it” said I to my 9 year old self in dreamland. That was when I realised I was aware of myself dreaming in dreamland. That’s when I understood I can do whatever I want without anyone’s consent. I’ve also understood that since I am the main protagonist I could never die in my dreams so whenever death threatening scenes are streamed I would not be afraid of its expected pain and torture nor would I feel it and most often what I do is shift into another scene. The strangest thing I noticed is that sometimes I feel as if there are two of me, it’s like I can see through my eyes but at the same I can see myself from another angle or above.

If you learn to think and thus act differently to a given situation than you would in real life then you possess the power to manipulate and construct your very own dreamland. Yet you should be careful, as it is all a thinking process anything can go wrong if you think of the negativity. Therefore maintaining positive and thoughts that benefits you will always work in your favour.

What if like one could continue one’s dream from where one has left off from the previous sleep? Or one could choose from the dreams one dreamed before and continue it…

Also another thing I’m so obsessed over or want to know so badly is that our dreams are made up of our imaginations and yet in real life there are people who have better imagination than others like artist people and I wonder what kind of dreams they construct in their dreams.

VULNERABILITY 2

I really like the way the first photo turned out! I was shooting remote on my computer which means that I had to press the click button to take the photo with my hand but I wanted both of my hands on my face at the same time. So what I did was I took two separate photos, one hand on my cheek and one hand covering my eyes. Then I just put them together and got the result above. I was kind of going for the same "vulnerable" theme I did before and I guess they turned out quite alright.

Like I said many times before, Weiling is leaving tomorrow in the morning for Edinburgh and not coming back until Christmas break and soon Lina is going away to Aberdeen on thursday,,, and then Somi is leaving in early October for Switzerland... I guess I'm feeling a little sense of loss... well it's a good thing I haven't lost myself.. as for me, I'm taking a gap year (have I mentioned it before?) and going to work... I watched them perform last night at the Malmö Festival and they were so good! Kind of swooned over the vocalist, Weiling and I shared some good laugh just teasing each other with some jokes involving the vocalist. Plus his pants were ripped and we could see his boxers, anyways he was quite dashing. Well everybody looked cute in their own little ways and their music was good. Oh and they are called "Vile Beloved Wilde" and are Swedish!

Just realised that recently I haven't been sharing some songs with you guys. With that said I've been obsessed with Dido's "White Flag" when it just came out, I think it was in 2004? or 2005. Her voice is so unique and I used to listen to her other songs as well. But just recently a month ago I started listening to her again after a long time, and one song in particular really kind of influenced me in ways undefined. Like everytime I listen to it, I get this feeling of solitude and sadness embraces me but at the same time it makes me feel good. It's so ironic. And when she sings the part "oh I am what I am" I get all the goosbumps and shiver. It's also weird because people usually like the recorded version of the song more, but I love the live version far better.

Like I said yesterday, we had crayfish (not crabs as I thought it was called in English) for dinner and had some friends over to enjoy the evening together. It was so tasty and delicious! I was so absorbed into pealing and breaking the parts of the crayfish and did't realise that I cut my finger. Anyways besides crayfish, I've also cooked potato gratin and mommy made delicious pasta salad. And before we've started I've also made cocktail (caipirinha, but not with the whole lime and ice) for our guests and it was good too and of course took some photos. Hope you guys all had a nice Saturday!

I was going to sleep early yesterday night but ended up taking few shots and stayed up late editing them... I'm so confused as I don't know what style I should follow and concentrate myself in deeply. I love portrait and fashion editorials (not that I have done many but still) but at the same time I love surreal and unconventional styles.... Well I guess the best thing to do in this scenario is just to continue on experimenting and then eventually and hopefuly I'll know what to do...

Watched my Dad and his friends play snooker yesterday and took some shots. It was pretty fun to watch them tease each other and play. It's been ages since the last time I've been to the billiard bar. Last I did was to watch Ronnie O'Sullivan win the tournaments couple of times. Also filmed for few minutes and it turned out very good, I'll upload it later.

Just came back from the cinema, watched the final part of Harry Potter. All I can say is that it was perfect in everyway possible ways; it exceeded my expectation and left me emotionally moved. I couldn’t help myself from tearing down. I don’t know why, but somehow just realising and knowing that this is the very last one and that there won’t be another one after this truly signified the end of many things. And in another words, I remember watching the very first movie when I was in second grade, 9 year old, sick in bed for months and weary. At that time in my life, after watching the movie for the first time, I never felt as amazed of any movie before as I did for Harry Potter. It was truly magical and throughout the years I would anticipate with excitement and longing for every release of the next sequels. And I can’t believe it’s been already 10 years and it took that amount of time to end it. Within these 10 years so much has happened to me and it was the best childhood one could ever ask for and it is Harry Potter that contributed so much to this best memories and laughter. And now that it ended I feel as if my childhood, that part of my life has also closed its door on me. I’ve just turned 19 and graduated High School and it feels as if life is pushing me to grow up now and dream for the future. As much as I want to, I’m afraid of what future holds for me and letting go someone I loved so much with all my heart and still love is still difficult. And I don’t know how I’m supposed to deal with the present situation. I keep losing my way and feels as if nobody understands me or they don’t want to. But I guess no matter what this is a goodbye. I’ll have to grow up, and not be a burden that is useless, worthless, valueless and childish, at least to my parents right?

Thought I would share some photos from my Birthday which was in last month.. I know I’ve been such a total slacker and I’m sorry if made you guys wait long. But July was a really busy month; we went to Gothenburg (second largest city in Sweden) and spent 3 days there. Then when we came back it was my birthday and few days after that we organised an outdoor event for the weekend promoting Mongolian culture and tradition co-working with another foundation. So it was very hectic and yet fun. Then we also had some troubles with the internet. And what can you do when it’s already August and it feels as if summer is already gone..

It was during Christmas break that I went with my friend to a ski resort. It was my first time skiing ever so I was very scared but excited at the same time. My friend on the other hand learnt how to ski since she was a small girl, so she taught me the basics. For the first half an hour I spent practising on a small hill where 5, 6 year olders were practising. Then afterwards I encouraged myself to go up to the not the highest but the medium hill... Now that I think back I don't know what I was thinking must have been crazy... So we were waiting for the lift and there were long line, but my friend wanted to cut the line so she just literally jumped on the lift and as I was too slow I missed it.. So I got to sit on the next one with strangers and it was pretty scary going up as the hight increased. As we were going up the hill on the lift, my friend called me and said she was sorry for leaving me alone and that she should have been careful since it was my first time. I assured her it was fine and I guess the boy who was sitting next to me heard what I was saying and understood that it was my first time. So when we got to the top, when we were supposed to get off from the lift, the guy who was sitting next me held me around my waist and helped me to get off. I was like "wow", it was so nice of him to help me. There are not a lot of people out there specially around my age would do that often. So I'm just very thankful and wanted to share the story with you guys..

Hope you all had a nice Sunday!! Few days ago I tried filming with my new camera and when I tried to edit it I had a problem with the file format. It said that I need to download a file converting programme or a advanced video editing software. I was like "WHAT??" because none of them came free, I had to purchase them online and they were pretty expensive.. But today I got lucky and downloaded a converting programme for free and finally set to editing all the frames and colours and music!! I'm so happy and fortunate! Anyways the film is nothing advanced, just shot it randomly as I didn't plan anything beforehand.. But tell me what you think!!

Went to the city library today (fulfilling the summer to do list number 13) and borrowed some books. Two business related and guess what, I borrowed “Eclipse” too! It was such a long time ago that I read it; I think it was in 9^th grade. To be honest I really think Twilight is bit over-rated, I mean the books are perfectly fit for teen girls around (13-16nish) but the movie adaptations are so bad… But it’s like once you’ve read the books you have to watch the movie no matter if it’s good or not.. Anyways borrowed another book by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (love her books) and that’s it for today’s booklist.. And as you guys can notice I’m also posting everyday!!! Woohoo…

Summer Diet

Since I did the “summer to do list” yesterday I might as well get on with it! First thing first, starting on a diet from now on and try to stick with it at least a month. Here is what I’m gona do. I will not eat anything heavy after 6! The things I’m allowed to eat it just fruits and drink water. And on top of that I’m gona start running and do sit ups, I normally do 50 but thinking of increasing it.. So let’s see the first result after one month and feel free to join me!

Graduation Photoshoot

Hey all, right after the graduation we did a little graduation photoshoot. I never knew we had a photo studio at school until last year but then I didn’t have a camera so I couldn’t use it. However since I got my Canon 550D I thought we should try out the studio and when I asked my teacher if we can borrow he said it’s totally ok. So then we took couple of photos outside in the park then went to school and shot some more inside the studio. It was really thrilling actually! It was my first time working in a studio and it was clearly visible that I lacked tons of experience and knowledge about working in a studio after looking at the results. But it was a good practise!

Barbeque

Hey lovely people!

Sorry if I’m still behind on updating! Don’t know what excuse to make to justice my lack of blogging. Nevertheless few days ago had a really nice barbeque with my girls by the beach. The weather didn’t start out nice but towards the evening it was really calm and the temperature was just perfect to end the night. The engångsgrill however was really pain in the ass. It took about 30 minutes or more to get it warm enough to start grilling, but once it started everything went fine. Towards to the end of the evening we cycled to a near playground and acted around as if we were back in kindergarten. It was fun.

Prom / Graduation

It’s been quite a while! But I’m back and with some goodies!!! I don’t even know where to begin! I’ve been so busy and there is just so much happening lately! Anyways let’s start with Prom!!!!

So after the final exams we had our long waited Prom on the 28^th May. It was great! Everybody was looking dashing and dazzling and you could feel the excitement in the air. We were all gathered at Hilton around 6 and went upstairs and had our welcome drinks! Then ate dinner and following dinner we had a live band and dancing! Overall it was really nice except the Dj was so bad (kept on playing the same beat over and over again, tad boring).

After prom on the 8^th of June we had our GRADUATION!!!! Or in Swedish STUDENTEN!! (asså det var det bästa jag har gjort i hela mitt liv! Det var helt galen och underbart!). It was freaking awesome!! One of the best moments I ever experienced in my entire life!!! We started early in the morning at 8 and took our class and individual photos! Then around 8:40, the half of the class (including me) went to Joel’s place (on the 9^th floor by the beach and we were all on the roof, the view was so great) and had Champagne Breakfast (it’s an IB tradition). It was completely awesome! Took so many photos and signed each other’s student hats (studentmössa)! Afterwards some of the people went to grab a lunch with the teachers and I went to a nice restaurant with my girls.. On the way, back and forth we were whistling and screaming so loud, we were just going crazy!

At 15:30 we came back to school and were locked inside the school until 16:00 and were officially kicked out from school!!! It was insane; people were screaming, whistling and yelling everywhere! The excitement was accelerating!!! The parents were waiting outside the school with photos of us when we were babies! The moment the door opened we all just run towards the stage like army of angry bees!!

When we went down the stage and went to greet our parents and relatives everything seemed so out of the picture.. I was sweating so much and my parents were telling me to calm down but I was just like spaced out.. hahahaha It was so surreal, we are finally done with High School and especially IB!!!!! Everybody was overloaded with happiness!

And when we went on the FLAK (truck), it was F***** amazing!!! We were the loudest and the craziest of all the FLAKs!!! I was screaming on top of my lungs trying to beat the loud music from the speaker to strangers on the streets!! As usual I was also dancing like a maniac! And got several cramps on my legs while dancing!!! FLAK was best of all the things we have done on that day!!

After the FLAK (driving around the town for 1 and a half hour) I came home (around 7) to a house full of people congratulating me and cheering me!!! It was really nice despite the fact that I couldn’t really concentrate on one thing (my ears were ringing, my legs were sore, my head was dizzy and I was soaked in sweat). After taking few deep breaths we ate dinner and I opened my presents!! And guess what I’ve got for present!!! CANON 550D!!! I was just shocked, didn’t expect it at all! So by grabbing this chance I would like to thank my parents once again! Thank you so much! You guys have made my day extra special and thank you for arranging and taking care of everything!!! Love you with all my heart!!!

After dinner at 23:45 we had an after party at Slagthuset (slaughter house, hahaha sounds so creepy, but one of the biggest or the biggest night club here in Malmö). As you guys all know that I love dancing, I danced non-stop for about 1 hour without even taking a break and I was wearing a 9 cm high wedges (thank god they were wedges)! It was so freaking awesome just letting the rhythm take you over and loose control! Really wanna do it again! By the time the nightclub closed it was 3 in the morning and the busses stopped going! So then we walked to town and grabbed something to eat at McDonalds while waiting for the bus to start going again which meant that we had to wait till 5 am..

So that was it! Graduation was perfect and just made me speechless!! I’m done!!! ^^ Jag har tagit studenten!

Had a nice day today, went shopping with my girlfriends. It’s been such a long time since the last time we all went out together and had some fun time.. Afterwards had a nice lunch with my family, we had Indian courses.. Love the mild and spicy taste of the curry.. Then I took the train to Kävlinge to try on my Prom dress, it is still in the middle of production but it sure looked absolutely gorgeous! Can’t wait!

Tomorrow going off to friend’s summer house and gona have a barbeque evening with some good company and booze and get a lil crazy.. I’m sure I’ll be forced to be crazy when I’m around my Russian girl whose turning 20..

Hey my lovely readers! I’m very glad to inform you guys that my Final Exams are officially over and I’m free and ready to restart my life! This whole year has been such a busy and stressful one.. and it’s kind of hard to take in the fact that everything is all over. I should be feeling super excited and happy but somehow I’m a little sad and scared.

This is the phase where I’m supposed to launch off from the nest and start my life on my own. But I’m not sure if I’m ready yet, I guess this really is the start but I’m determined no matter what gona make a hell of an awesome start.. I ain’t gona sit around during the whole summer and waste time.. Gona be super productive and get prepared for university and at the same time enjoy life and have fun!.

But for now let the show time begin! Party party party and party!!! My mom’s friend is making my very own prom dress and I can’t wait to wear it for the prom which is next week!!

It’s the second week of the FINALS! Done with 4 tests and 11 more to go! Feels kind of strange now that we are reaching the very end.. Tomorrow I have 2 tests on History and Friday I’ve got 3 tests on History and Swedish. Oh and Prom is almost here as well. So excited and cannot wait! Just watched weekly dose of GLEE! And it made me super excited as the episode was about PROM! And the song Rachel sang was so good “jar of hearts”, I just really want Finn to make up his mind.. Anyways here in Sweden we don’t really have the tradition of bringing dates and boys giving corsages to girls. It’s kind of boring though but that’s the way it is..

When she first came out or became more known I think I was around 8, used to listen to “whenever wherever” but especially liked “objection”. Since then I still continue to listen her music but never really understood why she had to sing “Hips don’t lie”, praising herself in her own song?! That was little weird. I prefer the original version of the song “Dance like this” by Wyclef Jean featuring Claudette Ortiz. Nevertheless I love “La Tortura”, the fact that it is sung in Spanish makes it more eargasmic.. and I have this thing for Latino beats and rhythms,, and the music video is quite dishy too! So all in all, with perfect combinations the song appeals to me.

I never really understood why some people were so crazy about celebrities and loved them so much like they would want to marry them and do anything to be with them or just want to see their sight in real life. I mean they are just celebrities and the chance of actually seeing them in person is like one in a billion (at least that’s the case for me) so why bother losing your mind over someone you will never have the chance to meet. I’ve loved and still love Johnny Depp but not to the extent that I would imagine myself being with him (he is too old and has a wonderful family) but love him in a respectful way and admire his acting. So I thought people were just crazy and so stupid to love someone they didn’t even know in real life and I would say “I could / would never be like them”. However as little did I know of this concept, I totally went crazy and found myself head over heels for certain special man. I couldn’t believe myself and I tried denying it but the more I saw of him the more attractive he was. He was like a magnet and pulled me towards him and wouldn’t let go of me as if he was the North and I was the South Pole. I think it was the eyes. Yea it was the eyes. God, just thinking of his eyes makes my heart flutter. The feelings I get when I look at his eyes are just indescribable, I really don’t know what will happen if I look into them in real life.. It’s like there are so much emotion in his eyes, all cuddled up together but mostly it has this sad and helpless intensity to it. Or so much stories ready to be whispered and spoken to the one who can unlock the gaze. Then there is the moustache, I don’t really like facial hairs, but his is perfect. And the voice and the smile.. I honestly helplessly fell for him.. and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I will marry him in an instant if he asked my hand. I don’t care if he is old, he is only 11 years older than me! I never imagined myself to be so vulnerable but if I was to be with him I would do anything for him… he is just simply perfect..

I guess having eyes with so much emotion enables one to transform into any character without any problem at all.. I dare declare that his acting is far better than Depp’s! He is mesmerizing! Apart from acting and captivating hearts, he sings, plays flute, golf and does taekwondo. How awesome is that? But it’s a shame that he hasn’t played in many movies, it’s like the same scenario with many great authors such as Arunthati Roy and Harper Lee whom only wrote a single book “to kill a mocking bird” and it is one the best books written in the world.. One could only wish that she wrote another book and I could only hope that he will be featured in many more movies in the future but currently he is in the army serving the country.

Now I totally understand die-hard fans! I love him…. Kim Nam Gil…Can’t wait till the day I will meet you!

And I recommend you guys to watch Bad Guy, he is superb in it!

I wasn't able to take any self-portrait since I sold my camera (almost a year ago).. but got to anyway when i did the photoshoot.. I'm not really the photogenetic person in the world, so prefer to stay out of photos unless it's me who is capturing.. thus for the past year I'm no where to be seen on any occasional event documentations.. and all of my Facebook profile photos are from 2 or 3 years ago... it kind of sounds bit sad.. but few weeks ago when I was going through my old stuff I found an one-use-only camera with films! I think I kept it for like 5 years, totally forgot that I had it.. so I decided to use it.. it feels so spontaneous and random using it... and exciting as I can't look at the results directly nor edit any of it and have to wait until they are all processed.. it's fun using it.. ^^

Living within a dream

Brushed my brother's teeth and now I'm just hovering over my bed, going to sleep soon. Yesterday I had the strangest dream of all.. it was so intriguing and very puzzling.. My dreams are usually packed with actions and thrills.. this is one of the reasons why I love to dream.. and I wish there were some kind of explanations to why we dream what we dream... going back to yesterday's dream it was more of an "inception" or "vanilla sky" type of dream.. it was as if we (our minds) were tricked into living in an unreal world.. it was as if we were living within a dream and believed it was real, until one of us started seeing flashbacks from his real life.. and I started remembering things and memories.. and we both encouraged each other to remember more until the "others" tried to stop us and they turned into some kind of monsters and tried to eat us.. yea it was pretty bizarre! and the oddest and strangest thing of all was that that the guy who was with me was Corey Monteith (Finn) from GLEE.. like how the hell did he end up in my dream? So random..

oh right, yesterday we got packet from L.A and San Francisco.. Hugo is so happy cuz he got so many toys from our aunt and uncle.. and we (daddy, mommy and I) also got some sweet treats.. Taste of San Francisco...

The rush

for about a moment my heart skipped a beat.. it really felt as if my chest could barely contain it.. it's that rush of feelings you get right at once and you don't know how to tame it down.. one moment you feel this and next moment you feel that... it's uncontrollable.. i guess it's the excitement and short lived bliss of having used to this brand new adaptation .. and it's short lived because you know the whole idea of it is ridiculous and unreal.. there you go the slap in the face, the wake up call.. it's funny how we humans do stupid things to lure and fool one's soul to console it even just for a minute.. but even if it was just for a minute, if you really felt it then it counts right.. but breaking away from a habit is the saddest and hardest part..

I'm so tired, have been studying for biology all throughout the weekend.. Yet I'm not done with all the revision, still need to cover 4 more chapters. While studying I been listening to Gabriel Yared nonstop! His compositions are so soothing and beautiful! Somehow they make me feel so nostalgic and I feel so familiar to the melodies.. My emotions are just overflowing and my heart can barely contain all of it.. It makes me feel good but at the same time it has the melancholic effect.. Paradox!
Anyways I've decided to make a short movie for one of the songs! I've pictured all the scenes in my head and just need to find a free time to devote all mine to it..

The reason why I wanted to make a short movie was because I watched this very fun and cute short movie filmed by my blog friend Itgel. It made me want to make my own so I've decided it was time for my second short movie! It's been almost a year since the first one.. Plus the music is just perfect! I'm so in love with this editorial!!! OMG!!! Everything about it is pure perfection! God, I don't think I've seen any other editorial like this! I absolutely love it! Photographed by Yuval Hen! I worship him now!! So I did a little reseach on him! He is a London-based photographer and mainly does reportage photography but as you guys can see he also does fashion editorials as well! I love his style and technique. So extraordinary and breath-taking! and the model is none other our Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright) from Harry Potter! She looks amazingly beautiful!!! I was like "WOW".. Stunning!!! I wish it was me who took these photos!!!

Prom ticket

Bought my prom ticket today. It feels so great. I'm so psyched up! It's on the 28th of May, right after the Final exams. Starts at 18:30 and ends around 03:00.. There is gona be before party, so we are gona party all day and night along! On the menu, for appetizer we have Salmon Chef's Choice and the main dish is Corn Chicken with baked potatoe and garlic gravy. Last but not least we have Cooked cinnamon apple with crambled pie served with vanilla sauce. Not really the best dinner course.. Also got my student hat 2 weeks ago. I was going to show it to you guys earlier but just didn't have the time. It has International Baccalaureate on the front and at the back it has the school name Malmö Borgarskola and 2011.. I honestly cannot wait for graduation. Next week gona hunt for prom dresses..

I usually come up with titles before I start writing the posts but for this one I just can’t quite decide what the title of this post should be. So let’s just decide after finishing.

Here I am sitting in front of the laptop, in my room, eating spring rolls dipped in sweet chilli sauce and my fingers are oily. I can see biology books piled on top of each other to the right and some doodled papers and a photo of me when I was 6. To the left I don’t see much, just a pillow lying on the floor. The sun is now hiding behind the building opposite and I’m just here sitting and thinking and scribbling down streams of thoughts.

I usually read this horoscope everyday which I installed on my phone few months ago. Now, I’m not a big believer, but somehow this horoscope seems to work all the time. It really surprises me, but today’s wasn’t really a prediction of my future. Instead it was rather a mission and it said that I should see the same old things in a whole new way.

“A lesson is waiting to unfold. If you pay attention today, you could learn something that will transform your life. It’s ordinary and extraordinary at the same time”

So, it got me thinking and wondering. What could possibly transform my life? Everything in my room and my life is just ordinary as it is. I see everything the way it was like yesterday or the day before and even months before. The more I thought about it and tried to figure out what it could be, I was just completely clueless as I was from the beginning. So I gave up.

However it got me thinking of something else. I have been confused for a long time and still am. Emotionally and psychologically, I haven’t been the strongest one for the past few years. Well there have the influence from the external factors but mostly my life, or the way I was and am living my life was/is too ordinary. It used to be extraordinary and energetic. I used to be happy, confident, talkative, smart and alive to the fullest. But nowadays I can really see the repeating patterns of self-consciousness and failure. It is so frustrating. There is the saying if it’s meant to be then it is meant to be because it’s your destiny. So the question is should I wait for something extraordinary to happen and take me away from all this or just work for it to happen? Well I’m pretty sure that the last option is now the best choice as I have already been sitting around for too long with my ass going numb and nothing right came my way. But, what if you don’t know how to make the start? Taking the first step is the hardest task ever.

So maybe the “realisation” was the thing I was supposed to perceive today from re-evaluating my ordinary life. If so, then the mission is completed, what I realise is that I should make my life extraordinary. See, this horoscope I’m using is so effective! Hehehe…

Here I am sitting on my bed, listening to “I’ve got crush on you” performed by Stacie Kent. I can still smell the fried spring rolls from my fingers. Gentle breeze of spring is wafting through my open window and I can hear the birds singing and cars driving away. Now I’m pretty sure what the title of this post should be….

Well, I hope that I will let you guys hear a good news soon. Till then please remember to love yourself the most and have the most awesome relationship with yourself!

Photoshoot for GreenSun charger...

So here are the photos from last week's photoshoot.. Like I said before, it was definitely a great experience for an amateur photographer. I was working outside my comfort zone and it was bit nerveracking as I was utterly clueless whether the costumer would actually be satisfied with the photos.. Also as a photographer it's understandable that I instruct and tell the model how to pose and where to look and all sorts of things,, But I really felt uncomfortable ordering people around when I didn't really know them very well.. I'm just hoping that I wasn't really too ordering or demanding.. I mean I felt really bad for the model.. The poor girl was only in a summer dress and wedges.. And it was like -5 celcius outside and we had been photographing for more than 1 hour.. I tried to make it quick and efficient as possible, but yea.. Because we did the photoshooting in town, everybody was like looking at us and it made me even nervous.. hihihihi

The product we were trying to advertise was a solar charger and in every photos the model is holding one. It's pretty handy and environmental friendly.. It's like a battery that does not run out as long as there is light, whether it be lamp light or natural it works just fine! and it could charge cellphones, ipods and mp3s..

And my costumer was 100% satisfied with the photos and I got my share. It was fun..

Sneak Peak

So I'm really glad to tell you guys that the photoshoot went super good! We had so much fun and it was hell of a good experience for me! Before I used to work with people whom I know well and comfortable with and this was just the opposite! That's why I was partially nervous and tense. But it went really good, just felt sorry for the model... Anyways I'll tell you guys more in detail later and here is a lil sneak peak photo!

Prom Dresses

Wow, I'm graduating in 2 months!! I'll have another 4 weeks of proper school and then will have 3 weeks off to prepare for the FINAL EXAMS which will continue for 3 weeks from the first week of May and then it's all done deal. It's kind of nerve-racking and tense but I'll get there, I mean everybody does so...

The other day my friend bought her Prom dress and got me thinking about mine.. aah just thinking about it making me lose my mind. I swear graduation is going to be so expensive. I need to buy two dresses! One for graduation and one for prom and top of that I've also ordered my graduation hat which cost me 1200 sek.. and adding on; there is the prom fee, which is at least 600 sek and it's always held in Hilton hotel every year so I guess the price is reasonable. I've also payed another 550 sek for the truck. In Sweden it's very typical for graduating students to ride big trucks in town with loud music and scream and shout at random people in streets, basically showing off that we are done with High-School. It's pretty fun and adrenaline accelerating. Also the both dresses in total will cost 1500sek and on top of that I'll have graduation party for almost 20-30 people. And then after graduation we are likely to head off to Greece!! Wow we will definitely be broke for sure...
